FAQ

Questions You Might Have

If you don't see your question here, just get in touch — we're happy to help before you book.

How do I book my first session?

Simply fill out our contact form or give us a call. We'll get back to you promptly to arrange a time that suits you — daytime, evening, or online.

What happens in the first session?

Your first session is about getting to know each other. There's no pressure — we'll talk through what's brought you to counselling and what you'd like to get from it, at a pace that feels comfortable.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is central to how we work. The only exceptions are rare situations involving risk of serious harm, which we'd always discuss with you first wherever possible.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, we offer both in-person sessions in Brighton & Hove and secure online video sessions, whichever works best for you.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies from person to person. Some people find a handful of sessions helpful, while others prefer ongoing, longer-term support. We'll review this together as we go.

How much do sessions cost?

Get in touch for our current rates. We're happy to talk through options if cost is a concern.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Just let us know as early as you can, and we'll find a new time that works. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible.

Still Have Questions?
